Interactive Session on ‘Homa Therapy and Garbage Enzyme’

Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) - as a part of its corporate social responsibility organised a talk cum demonstration on the “Skills of Environment Management through ‘Homa Therapy and Garbage Enzyme’ on 30th Oct in association with The Art of Living, Chandigarh.


Mr. R.M.Dhawan, former Chairman, Art of Living, Banglore while speaking said that Homa Therapy is Ancient Science coming from Vedas and the practicing of the same is most beneficial in this era of global warming and for personal help.

He said that Agnihotra, which is most potent bio-energetic fire of Homa Therapy, resets the energy cycle by reducing the emission of methane gas and carbon gases in the atmosphere. He added that the therapy can reduce mental tension and revitalizes the brain cells besides purifying the blood cells. Dhawan said that responsible organizations and associations such as CMA should involve its membership in practicing the Homa Therapy to contribute towards lessening the effects of global warming.

Mr. VK Sood, a revered Agnihotra Practitioner, The Art of Living, Chandigarh, while making his presentation, gave some tips to make garbage enzyme at home to ease global warming. He informed that Garbage Enzyme is a complex solution produced by fermentation of fresh kitchen waste (fruits and vegetables dregs), sugar (brown sugar, jiggery or molasses sugar) and water.

Sood said that the enzymes have anti bacterial and anti viral effect. It can also remove chemical pollutants easily. By spraying these enzymes surrounding animal farms can reduce infection and keep insects and flies away as well as reduce the smell. He added that by using these enzymes there is no need for artificial fertilisers for growing kitchen vegetables. A demonstration on method of making enzymes from kitchen waste was also made by him.

Other who spoke on the occasion included Dr. Gulshan Sharma, president CMA, Ms. Seema Mishra of the Art of Living and Mr. H.S.Bhatti, CMA Chairman (CSR) summed up the session
