CMA Session on “Global Warming and Traffic Management”

On 14th May, at 4 P.M at Bhartiya Vidhay Bhavan Conference Room-
Sector 27, Chandigarh

Global warming has become perhaps the most complicated issue facing the world today. On the one hand, there are warnings from rising dangers from the on-going build-up of human-related greenhouse gases — produced mainly by the burning of fossil fuels and forests.

On the other hand, increase in the population of the vehicles plying with petrol/Diesel, not only increase the carbon pollution in the environment but also add to the traffic jams in cities that have put lives of the citizens out of gear.

In order to discuss, these important issues, CMA is organising presentations of two eminent persons and experts in the line as follows:

1.     Managing Traffic in the Cities- by Dr. Bhushan Sood, NRI from Canada
2.     Implications of Global Warming - by D. Pankaj Khullar, IFS, Chief Forest Conservator (Ex.) of Himachal State

You are cordially invited to join the session along with your friends.
