On the mandate of All India Management Association, Dr. Gulshan Sharma, President CMA and Mr.J.N.Vohra, Secretary General- CMA visited Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions on 2nd March to initiate the formation of Kala Amb Management Association (KAMA).
Sh Rajnish Bansal, Chairman of the Institute, Dr. S.K.Bhasin, Director and Mr. Ajay Sharma, Head of Management studies welcomed Dr. Gulshan Sharma and Mr. J.N.Vohra.
A founding executive committee of KAMA was formed with Sh Rajnish Bansal as president and Mr. Ajay Sharma as General Secretary.
Mr. Rajnish Bansal , while speaking on the occasion said that the endeavour of KAMA would be to inculcate professional management culture and entrepreneurial skills amongst the working professionals of the industries and aacademic institutions and students studying in the professional institutions in and around Kala Amb . He said that KAMA would like to create benchmarks of activities to incorporate the element of all-inclusive personality development in our young professionals.
Dr. Gulshan Sharma, President CMA said that it is very essential to provide soft and entrepreneurial skills to the young professionals to enable them achieve heights in their career. He said managements associations elsewhere in the country are doing good job in this direction and hoped that KAMA will also stand out in spreading the management culture in the area under its domain and that large number of young professionaals will get benefitted from it.
Dr. S.K.Bhasin gave a welcome address and explained the salient features of the Himalayan Group of Institutes. Earlier he took the guests to a round of Institute’s workshops, libraries and class rooms.
Mr. Ajay Sharma said that KAMA would cater to Nahan and Paonta Sahib and soon will get it self-registered with the Registrar of Co-operative Societies.
